We were excited to try this restaurant after seeing it on the Michelin guide, but to be honest the experience was pretty disappointing. On arriving we got cocktails - the basil smash was great. But we were told the bartender would not make a traditional old fashioned (what bar doesn’t make classic cocktails?). Instead we had to have the pecan old fashioned on the cocktail list.. which was overly syrupy sweet. Appetizers (burratta and pasta fritta) were very nice. We got the ragu and gnocchi for our main. The ragu was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend the gnocchi. The cannoli also was just okay… not an improvement on the traditional recipe of plain ricotta so not our favorite. But what really sent us over the edge was when we asked for a box. Our waiter refused to provide any box and told us taking away our pasta would be “unsafe”. Totally absurd. Mediocre food and bad service. Go elsewhere.

We came here on a busy Saturday evening in August. We actually arrived slightly early for our booking, but were still seated straight away. The service was very quick and the staff could answer all our questions about the menu. For the price we paid, it was incredibly good value for money. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and want somewhere to eat
