バレエを観る前に食事を取ろうとして、オペラハウス内のレストランを予約。希望のところは、予約が取れず、ここにする。 (2ヶ月前) オペラハウスの入り口にインド人の年配男性スタッフがいたので、レストランの場所を聞くと、すごくそっけない。ロンドン滞在時にすごく不思議だったのが、白人の人達は感じ良いが、他の人種はあまり感じ良くないのだ．米国と反対だ。何故だろうと不思議。さて、レストランは三階にある。見晴らし良く、コンテンポラリーな感じ。最初に担当してくれたのは、若い女のスタッフ。だが、途中で男性スタッフに変わった。通されたテーブルだが、床が真っ直ぐでないのか、テーブルの足が均等でないのか、グラグラしている。下を見ると、テーブルの足に留めてあったのだろうな、紙が取れていた。男性スタッフにその事を言うが、彼は忙しく、暫く、グラグラのテーブルで食事を取る事になる。二皿のコースを予約していた。美味しかったのだが、全然印象には残らない。男性スタッフは感じ良かったが、お値段を考えると、なんかカジュアル過ぎる気がする。($200くらい)
