Al fresco breakfast at Aubaine Deli. I had the vegetarian brunch which was reasonably priced & contained a cooked breakfast, croissant, yoghurt with muesli, a pot of tea & peach vellini. My company was not as impressed with his breakfast & thought it was tasteless, but enjoyed my croissant

We arrived and joined the queue for a table, we were then shown a table by what turned out to be the manager, sat for a while and picked what we wanted. Then what I assume was our waiter arrived and asked us repeatedly if we had jumped over the fence, our explanation fell on deaf ears, he repeatedly asked if we had sneaked in or jumped the fence. No idea why he was so aggressive, we are a late fifties couple, but he treated us like we were stealing something. Eventually we walked out rather than stay and be abused, past the very confused manager who I asked why we were being abused by a member of his staff for merely sitting where he had placed us, no answer other than would we like to have another table when it becomes free. We will never return.
