Food was nice enough, but be careful when paying. They bring the card machine with an automatic option to add tips at various % before paying, which we did but on closer inspection of the bill later it turned out they'd already added a service charge so we basically tipped twice. Also, don't go downstairs to the toilets. It looks like the apocalypse.

This is a tricky one because the food is excellent, served quickly. Staff were good too. So why the hesitation in my review? I noticed a service charge on the bill, which I dont mind (though it was on the high side) but when the server brought over the card machine she showed me the tip screen. I politely pointed out that the service charge was included and she said that's not a tip! When I asked what it was for, she said the kitchen. It doesnt really make sense to me, and and left a bad taste after what was a lovely meal. I'm happy to pay a service charge or leave a decent tip, asking for both feels like maybe you need to adjust the advertised prices?
