Estive no dia 08/05 as 15hrs no chá da tarde. Os garçons já estavam arrumando as mesas ao lado para o jantar enquanto estávamos comendo, fazendo nos sentir apressados. Tive que solicitar pratos porque não foi servido. Nossa atendente de mesa não se manteve no salão e não pude pedir mais chá. Era prometido no cardápio 4 opções de bolo no carrinho e tinha apenas 1. Não vale o preço.

If you’re an out of towner like myself and looking for a great afternoon tea, look no further. Fantastic setting, very relaxed. Great sandwiches, petit fours/cakes, tea. Clotted cream and jam were incredibly fresh. Yes, expensive, but if you won’t be back or aren’t doing another afternoon tea, jump to book this one.

An absolute must, particularly after the guided tour! Make sure to book both in advance. Special thanks to Carla and Diego, who made my first-afternoon-tea-time ever so memorable and enjoyable. The price doesn't even come close to the fulfillment of it all. Ambient music, sometimes alongside real-time performing music from the actual hall (which made it the more immersive), heavenly treated and taken care of, let alone the absolute scrumptious meals. Being by myself and so unused to such treats it felt like I was under some high-class self-love potion, whose ultimate side effects are soul-soothing and heart-healing (and of course tummy-treating). I felt like Alice in her own wonderland. All in all, a culinary experience worth the try!
