We were looking for a vegetarian indian food place in the heart of London and this restaurant with the catchy named showed up on the search. We decided to give it a try. We ordered Margherita pizza, veg dum biryani, paneer tikka masala, lacha paratha and garlic naan. All of them were tasty and the spice levels were above expectations . Normally many places go easy on our spice level asks, but 1947 didn't disappoint. Our host Binjal was very attentive despite being busy managing the pizza oven and taking care of the guests. Highly recommend!
