Visited with friends and overseas visitors, staff were very helpful towards the people who weren't sure about British drinking establishments. Food was good, lots of choice, particularly liked the fish, scampi and battered pickles (Frickles)

Classic casual British pub, feels a bit Greene King style - decent food spread, classic drinks on tap and friendly staff. It's fairly small inside but the beer garden is sizable with screens and covered areas. Only downside is that because it's not the biggest it gets full up very quickly if the weather is nice - have been quite a few times to find there's no seating left!
