The Star of Kings – Decent Vibes, Solid Venue We spent an evening at The Star of Kings, and while it didn’t blow us away, it was a perfectly fine spot to hang out. The venue has a bit of everything — pub upstairs, live music and DJ sets downstairs, and a crowd that’s friendly but mixed. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff were relaxed and helpful. The music was hit-or-miss depending on the night, but the energy was good, and the space works well for small gigs or casual meetups. It’s not the kind of place you’d plan a big night around, but if you’re in the area and want something easygoing with a bit of character, it does the job. Verdict: Not unforgettable, but not bad either. A decent place to grab a drink, catch some tunes, and enjoy the evening without too much fuss.

Wonderful little place! Pleasant last minute surprise with gorgeous burgers, great array of beers, and the quizmaster/DJ was fantastic. Will be returning on Tuesdays to come!
