Love this place. Travel all the way up from Brighton at least once a month to visit it. Staff are incredibly friendly as are the punters and they put on some incredible live shows in the back room.

I have been here on a number of occasions to see bands playing but there is no reason not to pop in for a pint or two though their opening times are mainly in the evening or night. At the back is a walled garden with plenty of seating so if you smoke its not on the pavement as is so often the case. If you enjoy music the room has its own bar, though with a reduced selection, that serves draft beers in addition to cans and bottles as is so often the case and has its own loos to. The sound is good and on each visit the person on the mixing desk has done a wonderful job.
