One of the best pubs to hang out, try all the draught beers and ciders and the delicious fresh blueberry pie if available

My friends and I are regulars at this place, we celebrate here every birthday and always do the bottomless brunch. We always had a great time, until yesterday. It was my friend's 31st and we went for a bottomless roast. First of all, our usual waiter (Marco) wasn't there, he was really missed cause clearly the rest of the staff has a lot to learn on customer service from him. Secondly, I got the classic cheeseburger, which arrived burnt. We let a member of the staff know, who promptly suggested they'll make a new one. That was very appreciated, if only the second one didn't also arrived burnt. I'm not one to complain usually, but you can tell me "it's just the barbecue", because in thing is barbecue smell, another thing is charcoal smell. My burger smelled and tasted like pure charcoal. When the second one arrived, I realised this is just how they make it, which is just wrong. This is our favourite place in London for bottomless brunch, so we will give it another try, hoping for Marco to be back and for the food to be better next time 🤞🏻
