Had some Thai Street Food from the Johnny Rice stall outside and it was absolutely delicious. One of the nicest Massaman's I've ever had.

It's a boxing-themed pub, apparently on the site of a former boxing ring. As well as lots of boxing pictures on the walls, there's a screen that constantly shows videos of famous boxing matches from the past. They have a good range of beers and plenty of seating on the pavement outside.

Hands down and pint up…this is probably my favourite pub in the whole of London. And that’s no throwaway claim. I’ve been to more boozers than a lost tourist on a pub crawl with no map and a contactless card. The beer selection is top tier. You’ll find yourself paralysed with choice, like a kid in a sweet shop with trust issues. There’s the Thai tapas which are actual flavour fireworks. You’ll come for a pint and end up cancelling dinner plans, life admin and everything else. Seating is Inside for the low-lit, woody pub cosiness. Outside for people-watching and pretending the sun will last more than 12 minutes. And location-wise, it’s a lazy 15-second wobble from Southwark station on the Jubilee line. You couldn’t miss it if you tried. Oh, and if you’re a boxing fan, this place isn’t just good… it’s sacred. It’s the promised land. Punches on the screen, pints in hand, crowd in full voice. You’ll feel like you’ve walked into a fever dream where the beer’s cold, the sound is perfect, and everyone actually knows what a jab is. This isn’t just a pub. It’s the pub.
