The Refinery CityPoint — Chic, Social, and Surprisingly Versatile Located just steps from Moorgate station, The Refinery CityPoint is a sleek all-day bar and restaurant that blends contemporary design with casual sophistication. Whether you're popping in for breakfast, hosting a business lunch, or winding down with cocktails, it adapts effortlessly to the moment. Atmosphere: Expect statement wallpaper, soft lighting, and faux fur accents that give the space a warm, modern vibe. It’s stylish without being stiff — perfect for both weekday meetings and after-work mingling. The sunken lounge and alfresco terrace (complete with a pizza oven in summer) add extra charm. Food & Drink: The menu leans international, with British and European influences. Think scotch eggs, vegan burgers, bangers and mash, and seasonal salads. Quality is solid, though desserts can be hit-or-miss. Cocktails are well-crafted, and the wine list includes some pleasant surprises — including orange wine and low-alcohol options.
