A lovely small traditional pub. Service was friendly and quick from a young lady, who also remembered the details of our drinks for each round. Cask beer was lovely and keg beer choice was good too. The wine wasn't any good but it never is in a pub. We stayed for 2-3 hours so that says something.

Indeed it is not on a crowdy street. It's charming, cosy and they have good enough beers No food, just chips and wasabi peanuts But beers are great and service was fast and nice Totally worth it
