We have been so many times. However yesterday was dissapointing. Very very poor service and the food was only ok. Expensive if its 0nly ok. There are lots of other places to try if this fails again.

We had the chateaubriand, which was cooked beautifully by Sam—full of flavour and just right. The wine pairing was well chosen: a chilled rosé and a glass of red that worked nicely with the meat. Gary, our waiter, was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. Service felt smooth and relaxed. Great food, good wine, and a team that clearly cares. The Gatehouse is well worth a visit. 🍷🥩
