The Catcher in the Rye: A Cracking Pub in Finchley Central Towards the end of May, I had a meeting near Finchley Central. For lunch, we fancied finding somewhere decent for a bite to eat and a pint. We took a stroll down Regent's Park Road and stumbled upon this really nice, lively pub. The manager, who was super friendly and switched-on, got us a table straight away. He suggested we try their chicken schnitzel and chips. We took his advice, and honestly, it was one of the best schnitzels we've ever had. Especially with those chips, done properly with a hint of truffle oil. If you're ever in that neck of the woods, you really should pop into this bar.
