If you’re ever wandering around Covent Garden and fancy somewhere with all the vibes, then this needs to be on your list. It’s the kind of cosy little wine bar that just works, whether you’re catching up with mates, out with your bestie, or on a low-key date night. The atmosphere is relaxed yet buzzy. Perfect for switching off after a busy day with a glass (or three!) in hand. We tucked into: 🥓 The King Platter – loaded with 4 meats, 4 cheeses + chutney 🥖 Artisan bread (because what’s cheese without bread?!) We didn’t use the team to match our wine because as soon as we saw the Izadi Selección Blanco on the menu, no other questions were asked! The food hit that sweet spot of light, shareable, and full of flavour, just what you want this time of year in the heat we’re having! 📍 42 Drury Lane, Covent Garden, WC2B 5AJ 🚆 Temple, Covent Garden 🎟️ Booking advised ✨ A proper hidden gem in Covent Garden; 10/10 would recommend if you’re after good wine, good food, and a super welcoming vibe.

I absolutely loved my visit to Cecilia's wine house in Covent Garden. They had a great selection of premium wines and the food menu was lovely and really complemented the wine list. We had the Charcuterie and some of the seasonal specials - all of which were perfect dishes for the summer. The setting was relaxed, cosy and offered a wonderful intimate space for catching up with friends. I really loved how the wines were displayed which added to the wine house feel. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable on what to offer depending on preferences and were attentive in making sure we were happy throughout the evening. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Covent Garden!
