Tea before The Great Gatsby was delightful! And here was a nice perk: we were able to return to our table during intermission! They even gave us a new pot of tea. There was quite a bit of food (it served as lunch for us) and they offered to refrigerate and then bring out unused food for intermission also. Very friendly service from Tanya and Yuli.

For the price I paid I was a little disappointed, I thought the bar interior would be a little bit more polished(?) maybe hang a few paintings a bit of interest on the walls (it didn’t help there was construction/drilling noise too) but this is temporary- The waiting staff Tanya, Yuli & Amyutha were helpful and smiley. Changing the plates from savoury to fresh ones for sweet would have made it great. They were out of out of cake boxes which was a must. It was a birthday treat so on reflection I wish I had booked somewhere else but alongside the show it was really nice to come back to cakes and tea at the interval.

What a great birthday experience. One of the staff (lovely young chap), noticed it was my birthday and brought some cake! And also kindly made us all some mocktails, as we couldn't drink 2 bottles of champagne between the 4 of us! Our table was reserved and we were able to return to the table and leave our coats there etc. Felt really luxury and was so nice to get there early and telax before the show!
