I’ve been in grassroots football across London for years, and Mill Hill Powerleague is one of the best-run setups out there. Quality 5-a-side pitches, with 7s and 9s available too. A few of the surfaces have been relaid recently, so the standard’s solid. There’s plenty of free parking, the bar’s decent, and the staff actually get involved — not just standing around. I coach kids there regularly and see all sorts, from five-year-olds learning the game to older lads still playing midweek. For proper 5s in North West London, it’s hard to beat.
