A quiet place with a lot of history of the local area. Run by a team of dedicated and friendly volunteers who go out of their way to provide interesting facts about certain exhibitions in the pumphouse. The victoria line train stock was exciting to visit in, and it felt like going back in time! The model railway inside the pumphouse museum is extremely detailed and incredibly well maintained, with some familiar roads and landmarks. The fire station seems quieter but is as equally interesting, especially learning about its history as a tv star! All in all, it is a very good place to recommend for everyone of all ages

An interesting experience and a great little bit of history. Café tbete is very reasonable too.... Set in a lovely part of Walthamstow near to St. James Park.

Be sure to utilize the superb audio guides by scanning the QR codes throughout your visit – they truly enhance the experience. The dedicated volunteers contribute significantly to the welcoming atmosphere. With a convenient café and clean facilities. Admission is free, with donations warmly welcomed.
