Friendly staff really good cocktails to pick from and the tour was fun. Given plenty of time to look round at own leisure after tour.

This was the perfect museum for me as I love the type of things in there - it's not for everyone and if you're thinking of visiting, read up about it first and decide if it's for you. If you like the kind of things in there, it is a treasure trove of handpicked objets and curiosities and you could go again and again and notice a new thing every time. It feels secret. I recommend it to people I know will love it. I wouldn't take children there as there are sexual objects in there.

Das Viktor Wynd Museum in London ist kein klassisches Museum mit einem festen Sammelgebiet, sondern präsentiert allerlei Kurioses und Außergewöhnliches in einer sehr engen, teils überladenen Raumgestaltung. Die Sammlung wirkt ziemlich durcheinander und besteht aus einer wilden Mischung von Naturalien, ethnografischen Objekten, Kunst und bizarren Fundstücken, oft mit ungewöhnlichen oder provokanten Bezügen. Der Eintrittspreis für Erwachsene ist mit £12 ziemlich hoch, dafür, dass man in der kleinen, beengten Ausstellung mit dem chaotischen Eindruck in ca. 30 Minuten durch ist. Wer ungewöhnliche, skurrile und teils schockierende Exponate mag und keine klare Struktur erwartet, wird hier auf seine Kosten kommen. Das Museum befindet sich unter einer Bar, was das Erlebnis noch eigenwilliger macht.
