A fantastic historical site where one can enjoy watching the mounted guards in their traditional uniforms and experience a piece of British royal history. Depending on the day, you may get the opportunity to attend the Guards Parade which was my case. Right next to this site there's anourmous and fascinating garden /park that gets you access to the Buckingham Palace

This little gem of a museum is well worth a visit and for a reasonable fee. The docent is delightful. Visitors have the opportunity to also learn about the horses: origin, breed, care, etc. A unique feature of this museum is the opportunity to see directly into the horse stalls used by the King’s Life Guard - the very ones who stand guard at the gates on Whitehall. There’s a gift shop, too.
