Die Horselydown Stairs sind eine der ältesten Zugänge zur Themse in London und stammen aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Früher dienten sie als wichtiger Verbindungspunkt zwischen dem Flussufer und dem Stadtteil Bermondsey, wo Waren und Passagiere entlang der Themse transportiert wurden. Heute sind die Steinstufen ein charmantes historisches Relikt, das Besuchern einen ruhigen Ort bietet, um die Aussicht auf die Themse und die nahegelegene Tower Bridge zu genießen. Die Stufen haben nicht nur eine große kulturelle Bedeutung, sondern wurden auch als Kulisse in Filmen und Serien genutzt.
