Definitely worth a visit. The house is historically very interesting and in a way the fact that it is rather bare with little to no furniture makes you appreciate the architecture itself more. There is also a nice little cafe (I highly recommend the chocolate brownie!). The walled garden is a lovely and peaceful oasis.

Charlton park or gorgeous place to have a picnic or walk your dog. The house, which is Jacobean in its architecture , has a cute tea cafe and a library. Worth a visit!

What a beautiful building. Originally completed in 1607 and in perfect condition today. I hope my photos do it justice. I can see why people hire these rooms for functions.
