Preserved stately Jacobean home with attractive well-maintained walled gardens set on edge of expansive park. Some ancient trees including a venerable Mulberry dating from 1608 ( one of the 50 great trees of London ) Local landmark and warrants a visit.

Definitely worth a visit. The house is historically very interesting and in a way the fact that it is rather bare with little to no furniture makes you appreciate the architecture itself more. There is also a nice little cafe (I highly recommend the chocolate brownie!). The walled garden is a lovely and peaceful oasis.

Charlton park or gorgeous place to have a picnic or walk your dog. The house, which is Jacobean in its architecture , has a cute tea cafe and a library. Worth a visit!
