About

St Michael's in Limerick is an architectural gem, combining the elegance of Italianate and Romanesque Revival styles since its opening in 1781. This charming church is a beacon for both locals and visitors alike, boasting a remarkable Google rating of 4.7. Steeped in history, it's the very place where your great-great-grandfather was baptized in the 1850s and where you celebrated your own wedding in 1972. The intimate space reverberates with beautiful acoustics, making it the perfect home for the lively Limerick Gospel Choir, where you lend your voice at the 4:30 pm mass on the last Sunday each month. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an endearing priest known for his humor and a collection of intriguing religious statues adding character to your visits.
