Ich liebe diese Filiale, es ist mit Abstand die beste Steinecke Filiale die ich kenne in Leipzig. Nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal und eine gute Auswahl an Produkten. Ich fühle mich selten so wohl beim Bäcker.

Es steht und fällt doch alles mit dem Personal. Die Brötchen und das Gebäck sind sehr lecker und das Café als solches gemütlich eingerichtet ( die Toiletten im Keller, wo der Putz von der Decke fällt nehme ich jetzt mal raus). Wir kennen die Bäckerei und waren dort schon des öftteren frühstücken ( das grosse Gedeck für 2 Personen). Die Etagere wurde zum Tisch gebracht und es gab eine kurze, nette Unterhaltung. Diesmal war es leider ganz anders...die zwei Damen hinter der Theke unterhielten sich untereinander sehr zugewandt.Die Kommunikation mit uns Kundschaft war eher spärlich und beschränkte sich auf das allernötigste. Das Essen mussten wir uns selbst von der Theke holen. Eine andere Kundin wurde laut (quer durch das cafe) angefahren, weil sie es wagte die Milchkanne von der Theke KURZ zu ihrem Mann mit an den Tisch zu nehmen, damit dieser sich dort Milch in den Kaffee schütten konnte. Das Frühstück war vom Belag her nicht so reichhaltig wie wir es kannten, weniger zum Belegen, (für 19,50 Euro ohne Kaffee). Es sind die Kleinigkeiten, die es im Endeffekt ausmachen. Ob wir beim nächsten Mal nochmal dort frühstücken, wissen wir noch nicht. Schade.
