We have been coming to Philippus Biergarten since some years. They evolve all the time and now is better than ever. Their beer is excellent, the variation of food and drinks is very good and the people working here is always very friendly. In my opinion this place is almost better than any of those overrated places in Karl-Heine-Str.

Der Biergarten liegt sehr schattig auf dem Gelände der Philipskirsche, eine architektonische Besonderheit im miteldeutschen Kirchenbau am alten Karl-Heine-Kanal. Das Philipusbier (Pils) wird in Hartmannsdorf gebraut und schmeckt gut. Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Fazit : einer der schönen Biergärten in Leipzig, Besuch lohnt sich.
