Wir hatten einen Tag vorher für die Mittagszeit einen Tisch reserviert – alles hat problemlos geklappt. Drinnen war es angenehm ruhig, da die meisten Gäste bei sommerlichem Wetter draußen Platz genommen hatten. So konnten wir in entspannter Atmosphäre Kaffee und Kuchen genießen. Besonders in Erinnerung bleibt mir die Karlsbader Schnitte – so lecker und authentisch wie zu DDR-Zeiten bei Oma. Dazu gab es frischen Kuchen aus der Vitrine, alles sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist charmant und erinnert mit seiner klassischen Einrichtung an ein Stück Leipziger Kaffeehaus-Tradition. Wer Wert auf gutes Gebäck, freundlichen Service und ein Stück Nostalgie legt, ist hier genau richtig.
