Dit gebouw van de Oost.Duitse Stassi is bijzonder om te bezoeken. Het geeft een totaal beeld van de repressie in dit voormalige Oostblokland. De systematische onderdrukking en misbruik van de bevolking is buiten je eigen denken. Kinderen werden op jonge leeftijd uitgezocht en ingelijfd. Zo maakte ze de perfecte dienaren voor de staat. Gehoorzaam en toegewijd. Er was een hogeschool , waar de studenten leerde om het recht te verdraaien. Voor een gewoon mens is dit niet te begrijpen. De vreedzame revolutie in 1989 heeft dit blootgelegd en dit museum, wat in zijn oorspronkelijke toestand bewaard is gebleven, geeft een goed beeld. Geen wonder dat voormalig oostbloklanden als de dood zijn voor Rusland. In het filmmuseum in Rotterdam is een tentoonstelling over de onderdrukking van Estland, Letland en Litouwen. Ook hier kom je het misbruik van macht van het Sovjetcommunisme tegen. Ik snap dat men de overheersing van Rusland nooit meer wil.

Sehr sehenswerter Originalschauplatz der Stasibehörde, sehr interessant aber viel zu lesen, Eintritt kostenlos, Audioguide 5€ und unbedingt zu empfehlen, sehr viele original Ausstellungsstücke sehr nettes Personal

Muss man gesehen haben. Unfassbar welcher Aufwand zu DDR Zeiten betrieben wurde um das eigene Volk auszuspionieren. Sehr kuriose Exponate. Gehört auf jeden Fall zum Pflichtprogramm bei einem Leipzig Besuch.
