Duży teren, można nie tylko pooglądać chatę sołtysa Katowic z 1820 roku, ale też trochę pospacerować. Warto wcześniej sprawdzić gdzie są ubikacje ;) Na terenie skansenu można coś zjeść, czy to mając własny kosz biesiadny czy korzystając z karczmy. Pamiątki raczej skromne i w mniej przyjaznych cenach.
