One of my favorite restaurants in Helsinki. Upscale Thai food. Not cheap but good. And who would not like to taste a drink called Lady Boy.

I had the 7 course tasting menu and added the Crispy Pork as an extra. I asked for the non-alcoholic wine pairing, but the waitress told me honestly that she wouldn't recommend it. She adviced me to just go for a 0.0% beer instead. I appreciate such honesty. The first course was more the size of an amuse-bouche. A marinated salmon tartar served on a prawn cracker. The fish tasted great, but it was a poor choice to serve it on a prawn cracker, cause it got all soggy and wet. So we were not off to a good start. Fortunately, the next dishes got better along the way. The sashimi was excellent, the crispy pork belly amazing and the Thai salad with flank steak was truly delicious. The prawn skewers and the Hot and Sour Seafood fish could have had some more flavour to it. The monkfish yellow curry was very enjoyable, though a bit light of the amount of fish. Dessert was ok, but nothing special, some more creativity beyond the good old cheesecake and sorbet would have been appreciated. All in all I had an enjoyable evening, the food was good with some exceptional highlights. Service was nice. Not sure if the hefty pricetag was worth it, but I tend to say it was.
