It's a decent pub with average prices. Music isn't too loud so can have conversations inside. Atmosphere is OK, service is great.

It doesn't *look* like a "local" but it certainly feels like it. Not expensive for a Helsinki pub, the gaffer - Honkku - is a diamond, as is his barman, Pasi, and the customers are are very friendly and welcoming. And it's extremely dog-friendly. Jamming sessions once a month, weekly pub quizzes (Baaripähkinä and a music quiz), and an overall *nice* atmosphere - cannot recommend it highly enough.
