For architecture fans - great informative tour and plenty of time to enjoy the house on your own. Quite far out from the centre and little to do in the area other than visit the studio.

Visiting Alvar Aalto’s house was an unforgettable experience. The tour was incredibly well done, our guide Eeva was knowledgeable, engaging, and really brought Aalto’s story and vision to life. Every detail of the house was fascinating, from the clever design solutions to the warmth and intimacy of the space. If you’re in Helsinki, this is an absolute must-visit. I had the best time and would recommend it to anyone interested in design, architecture, or just a unique cultural experience. (I suggest you buy the tickets in advance and wait in front of the house, they invite you in just a few minutes before the tour stars.)

Ikonický dom Alvara Alta. Všetko v dome je tak, ako keď sa tam pohybovali jeho pôvodný obyvatelia. Interiér je dokonalý i keď pozorné oko nájde pár "hluchých" miest :-) Zariadenie domu je pôvodné a ide o veľmi kvalitný a originálny design. Dom nie je dokonale udržiavaný, záhrada pôsobí trochu zanedbaným dojmom. V gift shope nájdete len pár drobností. Ikonické výrobky, ktoré navrhol Alto sú zastúpené len veľmi málo. Určite odporúčam - treba vidieť. Nezabudnite si objednať lístky pár dní dopredu, inak sa dovnútra nedostanete a ostane vám len obzerať si dom z vonka.
