My wife and I went on a trip to Heidelberg and spent a couple of weeks. After going to several restaurants we found Spreisel and enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much we found ourselves back there several more times during our stay. The people were very nice and the food was delicious, authentic home cooking.

Enkel gegeten op de middag tijdens rondrit met de moto. Fijn terrasje op mooie locatie aan de bekende brug. Verassend rustig zitten ondanks de drukte om je heen. Vriendelijke bediening. Eten goed. Aangenaam tempo van bediening. Niet te lang wachten en ook geen druk om tafel vrij te maken. Aanrader.

Direkt an der alten Brücke findet man dieses historische Wirtshaus. Die Karte liest sich wie eine Ode an die Region und ist vielmehr ein ganzes Buch. Die Speisen sind klassische deutsche Gerichte, mega lecker und von der Portion genau richtig. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Stube mit viel Holz etwas rustikal aber gemütlich. Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man mit Blick auf die Alte Brücke und kann das touristische Treiben genießen. Heidelberg hat sehr viele Restaurants, aber wirklich gute deutsche Küche - die findet man im Spreisel!
