I booked for a Wednesday evening for my sons birthday. So glad I did as it was extremely busy with quite a few large bookings. This didn't distraction from the experience. Our waiter was excellent and had a sense of humour too. (Didn't get his name unfortunately - ate on 27th Aug) The steak was very good, cooked to our request and delicious. I had the steak salad and this was fantastic too. Not a huge plate of food but your don't need that as the steak was the star of the show and didn't need fancy side dishes. We also ordered the strawberry cheesecake to share and they put a little candle in it. It was one of the nicest cheesecakes as it tasted of strawberry without the need for coulis etc. Not artificial at all. It wasn't as expensive as I expected and desserts are £8 which is very reasonable for a restaurant of this standard. I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning on another visit to see my son. (Can't forget the amazing olives - wow! You can also buy a jar there, so wish I did! Might need to send my son in before he comes home for Christmas 😅)
