Just unreal. Incredible variety of dishes with serious flavour, AND not stingy small plates. Left feeling full and satisfied. They take desserts just as seriously as the main courses.

Had a great meal at @loboglasgow – every dish was solid, which isn’t always the case with small plates spots. Usually there’s a standout or two and a couple that miss the mark, but here everything came out tasting great and well-balanced. What we got, in order of preference: • Roast coley with piperade & anchovy croquette, £16 • Pork chop, morcilla, chickpeas, burnt apple sauce, £16.50 • Roast potatoes, £6 • Confit garlic panisse with black garlic & parmesan, £7 • House focaccia with black olive tapenade, £5 • Spiced cucumbers chilli oil, crispy chickpeas, tahini, £10 • Truffle mushroom fregola, broadbeans, crispy mushrooms, £13 • Grilled courgette confit cannellini beans, salsa verde, £11 Highlights: The roast coley surprised me the most – interesting flavours and the anchovy croquette worked way better than expected. The pork chop was up there too – juicy and perfectly cooked. And the roast potatoes were class too – crispy, fluffy, seasoned just right. Everything we tried was done to a great standard, even the lighter dishes like the spiced cucumbers and grilled courgette held their own. One of the best small plates meals I’ve had in a while – and a nice wee spot with good vibes and staff who had great chat. Follow me on insta for more reviews: @Lewishere_lewisthere
