What a GEM we found ! Wonderful We stopped at this establishment on Byers Rd this morning Wow!! What a lovely place We decided to have a breakfast and we were certainly not disappointed - it beat me ! 2 Bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, 2 sausage, beans, 2 toast, 2 black pudding! Excellent I’m fussy about most of all those ingredients. However the quality of the ingredients were excellent and well cooked We enjoyed freshly made coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice - both flavoursome and tasty Thank you chef We didn’t try anything from the dessert - pastry counter but it look very inciting- NEXT time! The waitress was very kind and friendly 😀 thank you The establishment is quaint, inviting and relaxing. Music playing but certainly not intrusive. We sat at one of the banquettes. Very ‘old school’ and comfortable, tables and chairs are also available. The toilet facilities are clean and can accommodate wheel chair users Also baby changing facilities can be found in the ladies toilet. What a great way to start a challenging day ahead ! Certainly put us both in a positive frame of mind - ready to take life on ! Well done - gold stars all round

We came for lunch on a Sunday only to find that the breakfast runs till 1pm. This is weird - even brunch is over by 1pm. The menu was restricted to croissants, croque this n that, and simple sandwiches. We were seated outside in the sunshine and service was non-existent. We received our food - all okay. The issue was that no one came to check up on us, no one cleared dirty croque this n that plates, nothing. And the inside was not even half full. We were going to have coffee and cake to finish, but we skipped and went elsewhere. You can't be lacklustre and expect to succeed as I'm sure you wish to succeed. Those who come to your cafe are deserving of your attention. We don't bite, and we're friendly. And breakfast is very much over by 1pm - on this, try much harder. With a smile, we would never return. There's better cafes where folks offer... service. Sorry.
