My Husband and I dined at the Golden Pheasant on a sunny Thursday evening and it wasn’t that busy. The Cajun Haddock was very tasty and it looks a great venue with quite regular events including guest acts/ singers and comedians. I’d recommend you get there early as the kitchen was closing at 1945. Afterwards we took part in an excellent quiz next door in the bar. The quizmaster clearly loves his music and indulged us in some brilliant indie tunes and presented a well researched reasonably challenging quiz. We are regular quizzers and know a good quiz/quizmaster from a bad one! We will definitely be back in the future! We also liked seeing the exterior- the cockerel and his hens in their pen and there’s plenty of benches outside.
