Disappointing atmosphere. Don't think it's the staff's fault, who are lovely and attentive. However, the music on club nights, especially regarding this Friday seemed haphazardly thrown together on the basis that it might be "nostalgic" to somebody. Do wonder if this is just because of the general decline of Glasgow clubs or a lack of innovation in order to bring people. Whatever they were trying was clearly not working as the club was less than half full! The people there were trying to make the best of it, however forced it felt. The people who work here are wonderful. They're friendly and doing their best to make the night nice for everybody, but if you're looking for a place that's properly bustling on a Friday night, this sadly might not be the place for you. If this is your first ever time at a nightclub though, this might really suit you for easing into clubbing, however disappointing this fact may be considering its past reputation as a Glaswegian icon of nightlife.

I'd never been before but since I came back "home" from abroad, I've now been to three concerts at the venue. Thoroughly enjoyable on each occasion. The acoustics were good, bar and toilet access was no problem at all. Bar and security staff were all friendly. Looking forward to getting back again soon.
