We went after sunset which was in retrospect a bit dangerous and limited the view. Wear good hiking boots as the journey down is slippery and uneven. Not suitable for elderly people or people who don’t like scrambling.

This place just 40 minutes away from Glasgow is unique and peaceful. Many folks confused about the entry stairs that lead to actual location. Remember the navigation will take you to the parking place then you have to walk about 5 minutes towards Glasgow and on your left hand side just next to the bridge is the entrance. It further strecthed with 10 minutes walk and you will reach the stairs. Stairs are alright but at some point tricky and a bit scary. You'll love the place. There are no food or other options available here.
