It is not a art gallery but a café with some art pieces. The coffee is good, but it felt like wrong advertisement to me.

Super chilled friendly vibes. Great coffee and selection of local art. Picked up two prints for my gallery wall. Love that they also host various events and markets for good causes, and are ethical in how they conduct themselves.

Showing a collection of my contemporary art at the Alchemy Experiment on the Byres Road was a great experience. The cafe and two-story gallery space was ideal for daily traffic of the vibrant community on the West End of Glasgow. The application process was easy and the staff at Alchemy made all of the logistics simple and were a pleasure to work with. Their fees were completely reasonable compared to standard gallery costs plus their staff did a lot of the work to help advertise and hang the show and handle all of the customer transactions. Businesses like this are so essential to elevating the community through art and connection. I sold many pieces and was able to interact with the public about specific works, my motivation and ideas as an artist to guide future ambition. I am very grateful to the Alchemy Experiment for their mission and kindness and effort to promote the arts.
