Ostatni poranek mojej kolejnej Gdańskiej wycieczki postanowiliśmy celebrować w Mimosie – i był to strzał w dziesiątkę. Piękny, słoneczny poranek z delikatnym wiatrem, kolejka przed lokalem (co zawsze jest dobrym znakiem) i uroczy tarasik, na którym usiedliśmy – ja w słońcu, partner w cieniu parasola. Idealne rozpoczęcie dnia. Na śniadanie wybraliśmy: Katsu Sando – mleczną bułkę shokupan w panko z długo gotowanym boczkiem, jajkiem sadzonym, sosem amarillo i sałatą z dressingiem chili – oraz jajka po benedyktyńsku z szarpaną wieprzowiną, podane na rzemieślniczym pieczywie z piklowaną kapustą i sosem holenderskim. Do tego idealnie chrupiące i słone ogórki małosolne, dwie kawy i – co zawsze cieszy – woda podana gratis. Jedzenie było absolutnie przepyszne i nieoczywiste – szczególnie bułka maślana w panko, która zachwyciła mnie swoją teksturą i smakiem. To doświadczenie, które trudno opisać słowami – po prostu trzeba spróbować. Wystrój wnętrza idealnie trafił w mój gust, a obsługa była na najwyższym poziomie – uśmiechnięta, pomocna i bardzo profesjonalna. Mimosa to miejsce, które z całego serca polecam – Gdańsk pożegnał mnie pięknie i pysznie.
