Überragt von der Burgruine und schon von Goethe erwähnt als Ort, wo Dr. Faustus seinen Pakt mit dem Teufel schloss, lohnt die Altstadt einen Ausflug: auch gut mit Bus, Bahn und Rad erreichbar! Hübsche Läden, Cafés und Restaurants laden ein zum Verweilen, eines gegenüber dem Keramikmuseum, das auch sehenswert ist! Ein Ort mit Flair, Vergangenheit und lebensfroher Gegenwart!
