Piccola trattoria giapponese che mi ha davvero sorpreso, soprattutto per chi – come me – ha avuto la fortuna di visitare il Giappone. Qui non troverete i classici piatti da “sushi restaurant” che ormai si vedono ovunque in Italia, ma proposte che ricordano molto di più la quotidianità della tavola giapponese, come il delizioso karaage (pollo fritto alla giapponese). Il locale è piccolo ma accogliente, con una musica di sottofondo tipica e discreta che mi ha fatto sentire per un attimo di nuovo in Giappone. Il personale è interamente giapponese, molto cordiale e disponibile: è stato piacevole scambiare qualche parola in giapponese, anche se ovviamente parlano benissimo anche l’italiano. Consiglio il menù fisso: comprende un antipasto (di solito a base di verdure), una ciotola di riso, una zuppa di miso davvero buonissima e un piatto principale a scelta tra varie opzioni di carne o pesce. C’è anche un menù alla carta con più varietà e una selezione di dessert: io ho provato un tiramisù al matcha che merita sicuramente una menzione. La posizione è comoda, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Se siete in partenza, appena arrivati o avete poco tempo ma volete un pasto autentico e soddisfacente, ve lo consiglio caldamente.

Bonne découverte ! Une cuisine (et un service très aimable) qui nous a rappelé notre voyage au Japon il y a quelques années. Les plats proposés correspondent à ceux d'un restaurant familial. C'est bon, c'est simple. Ils semblent faire un menu à 12€ le midi (mais nous y avons dîné, donc à confirmer). Merci et à bientôt peut-être !
