Excellent restaurant! Everything was top-level the service, the food, and even though I was dining solo, I got an amazing table. Make sure to book ahead! And the dessert… simply phenomenal

Definitely a life-time must! A Zurich landmark with so much tradition since the 1920s, history and an amazing collection of original art (Miro, Chagall, Rodin, etc). Unquestionably, however, these attributes (which are watched by an art portrait of Hulda Zumsteg, the founder) would be irrelevant if the menu items were not top notch – in character, presentation including dishing out by the knowledgeable but amicable staff, and most importantly the perfect flavor. Just a quick explanation how to best read the menu: On the left-hand side, there are timeless classical dishes that have not changed and will never change, and on the right-hand side, there are a bit more modern and experimental dishes. Every choice is perfected and one cannot really go wrong. Not being a vegetarian, I tried two vegetarian dishes and was thrilled. (Originally posted by me on YELP)
