Took our kids here for lunch recently and we had the most amazing homemade steak pie, chips & mushy peas...seriously tasty and very good value. Think I'll be tempted to try the chocolate brownie & ice cream the next time!

I remember going to this all day Cafe back in the 80's, as a teenager. It was like taking a trip down memory lane, showing my children my old haunts. We all ordered the fish and chips with mushy peas, so delicious and just how I remembered them being all those years ago!

My bestie and I were out in Storm Aowen - we had good reason, don't judge! - and were chuffed to see this oasis in a desert of empty streets. The proprietor was on her own, serving breakfasts like a good 'un without drama, even when she received an order for 20+ filled rolls, at which point she closed the cafe with us in it so she could fill the order in peace. I had posh porridge - delish! - and my bestie had a piece of carrot cake which was lush. The prices are great too - don't walk past, you'll thank me!!
