Great cafe in Edinburgh. Best coffee we found in Edinburgh. Great baked goods. The service was great, food was high quality, coffee was high quality, The staff took great pride in providing good service and quality food. North Americans should be ready that the emphasis in Scotland seems more on connection and quality of food/drinks over speed. By North American standards service might feel slower, but the "extra time" is not really that much and this results in better quality of food and drink. The staff clearly take customer service seriously and provide quality products.

Popped in when going for a walk. Lovely welcome and help with walker. Both of us had bacon and cheese toastie. Both said it was the tastiest one we had.
