Excellent experience and very hard working staff! Jamie, Sameet, and Rebecca made this a very memorable and special experience, despite dealing with a heavy rush of guests. This is an extremely popular experience and well worth it if you’re doing the castle, so you MUST make a reservation online ahead of time. The food and tea was excellent - we left super full. Compliments to the chef and team. Don’t expect a five-star queen’s tea experience in the historic palace grand hall, but this is a wonderful place to have lunch while touring Edinburgh if you plan ahead.

Visited here on our trip to Edinburgh. I definitely recommend it! We personally went and booked a reservation for a tea time there. The tea room is fantastic. We booked the tea time with the proseco. They bring you tea of your choice and proseco with a tower of food. All of it was so worthwhile! I'd recommend booking it ahead of time as today, they were turning everyone away who did not book a reservation. It's definitely worthwhile if you're planning to visit the castle. The tea was fantastic. The proseco was devine. The service was beyond courteous. I have not a single bad word to say. My only recommendation is to book this in advance.
