Everything here is soooo delicious. We've tried the apple tart, ultimate brownie, carrot cake and cheese scone - all perfect. The texture and flavour of cakes and pastries here are amazing. The staff are always friendly and give us tissues, forks etc. when we takeaway the pastries, which is perfect for enjoying in the nearby inverleith park.

Nanaimo more like Nanai-yes! As a Canadian from BC I was shocked to see our local confectionery in Edinburgh. I must try it. While it is not as sweet as our version I found it better! Nanaimo bars are so sweet it hurts my teeth. If more was like this one I’d eat it regularly. Please consider entering this one in a Nanaimo competition.

what on earth was that blondie … 🫠🫠 such a shame because everything looked delicious but the white chocolate blondie was like eating mush. i wouldn’t recommend keeping that on your menu. The texture was like no bake iv ever tasted before . it was like it was still in its dough form and hadn’t been baked yet. so disappointing . We also got these basked cheesecake which was lovely however was “white chocolate” and didn’t taste of white chocolate at all. I fear I just made the wrong choices and other items could have been better . However I do feel it was a complete waste of money. The staff were very friendly and the shop itself well presented .
