Loved this place! Small family bakery with mostly sweet stuff, but they have some savoury options and bread loaves as well. Their cheese and sausage pretzel was absolutely lovely! I liked the cardamom bun and fruit crumblewith soft and fluffy dough as well, however I would prefer more fruit in the crumble. The place really lives up to the hype in the reviews and even though I live quite far away, I will definitely be back! It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, especially early after the opening, so you have more to choose from.

Lovely pretzels, pastries and bread right next to St John's Road in Corstorphine. It os possibly the tiniest bakery in town but very good quality and not expensive at all. The lady who runs it is very knowledgeable and friendly. I love it

I lived in Germany for 3.5 years and I must say that this bakery is better than any that I tasted in Germany. And the service is also better than any German bakery I visited in all thise years. So happy to have (along with Guitarguitar) in an otherwise highly unimaginative Corstorphine street! Update after over a year - Me and my family still go regularly and love this Bakery! Thanks Störtebäckerei!
