You will regret not having visited this place sooner. It is small, quiet, cosy and unassuming, staffed by an exceptionally humble and gifted human who takes care of everything from food prep to service. Everything is made from scratch and with such care. The astonishingly blue butterfly pea tea is a delight. And fortunately/unfortunately you will never be able to eat a regular Bao bun again after having one here; they are soft and pillowy clouds of joy. Don’t hesitate to ring the bell to go in, even if you’re the only customers in there; you’ll have almost a private dining experience. A gem of Gorgie.
